Well, It’s as simple as that, recently i’ve forgotten my password and I can’t log in. I can access my son’s account and i’ve tried downloading password recovery software but the thing is, I am unable to install them because it requires permission from my account, and I don’t know my password. So i have resorted to yahoo, please help as i have important files on my computer that I absolutly need. All help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Friends i cant access my yahoo mail account, i tried the password recovery wizard but it stops only after first step even i entered the all details like alternate id, date of birth, zip code. After entering my id and code the help wizard stops, please help me to get my account back.

I’m so smart that I put a really long password that I THOUGHT was so easy that I would have remembered it, but awesome me didn’t (it’s a document with some bank information on it). So now, I need whatever password is in there to get into my bank account and I feel like I have literally tried everything. There has got a be a program out there that can either take it off or bypass it. Adobe PDF cannot be THAT secure that there isn’t some kind of way to get over it.

I believe that it’s the user password that I’m trying to get rid of, because I made the password myself. I usually put all my passwords to things in a special place, but I made this before I started doing that.

PLEASE, can someone teach me how to get this unlocked? I even tried getting it reset at the kiosk at school, but even the lady there couldn’t get me in so I wanted to try this before I went into the main branch for a stupid password. Yahoo! Answers always seems to have an answer !

Hello, I recently forgot my yahoo password and didn’t write it down. I realized I needed the password when I was on another site and I forgot the password so I sent the recovery email to my yahoo account. when I tried to get in I couldn’t. My alternate email has the same password so that if I couldn’t remember a password I could access it to get the password for my yahoo. I’ve been trying to access my account for a week and can’t do anything. When I went through the Recover your account on yahoo I forgot my secret answer question so when I got to the end of the process it said Contact Customer Support. Which I did and they sent me an email but it just said:

Hello,
This is an automated message regarding your recent request for Yahoo!
Account Verification Customer Care support. Your message was received,
and you will hear back from us within the next 24 hours with an answer. Thank you for reaching out to us. We look forward to helping you!
Sincerely,
Yahoo! Customer Care

It clearly states that they would contact me in 24 hours of that email,I have not gotten a response from them and can’t try again. I don’t have money to buy a password recovery program for the computer either. What should I do? Thanks

When you do a password recovery using your date of birth and original zip code a temporary password is sent to your alternate non Yahoo email address. If someone wanted to drive you crazy and they knew your date or birth and zip code could they constantly reset the password? Even though they could not access the new password wouldn’t it lock you out unless you noticed the password change email?
